Jarot Receives AV Rating From Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review

Edward J. Jarot, Jr., Managing Partner, recently received an AV Preeminent Rating in Trusts and Estates, Wills and Probate, and Aged and Aging, by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review, the highest rating for attorneys under the peer review system.

Peer Review Ratings attest to a lawyer’s legal ability and professional ethics in specific Areas of Practice, and reflects the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and Judiciary. The Peer Review Rating is established by lawyers. The legal community respects the accuracy of ratings because it knows that its own members are directly involved in the process.

The General Ethical Standards Rating denotes adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to the discharge of professional responsibilities. The General Recommendation Rating is: V – Very High.

Legal Ability ratings under the system include unrated, CV-Rated, BV-Distinguished, and AV-Preeminent.  An AV® certification mark is a significant rating accomplishment – a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.
